Today’s session is about toilet rolls (it couldn’t not be could it?)

Offering a differentiation perspective on the experience of emotional contagion and why we couldn’t help ourselves.

In order to halt the spread of this emotional “virus” we first need to get the big picture.
So today I’m going to encourage you to:

  1. Spot the spread – Notice where anxiety is being passed on. Whether it’s via WhatsApp groups, news broadcasts, video streams
  2. Notice its impact on you – As the anxiety is being passed to you, where do you feel it in your body? Perhaps you find yourself with a churning stomach, energetic legs or a tightness in your throat?
  3. Observe your action – What does this anxiety make you feel compelled to do?

If you would like to read more about the different ways we bind our anxiety – check out my blog on identifying your Differentiation toolkit.
