All the blogs in the resource library unpack elements of Dr Kissell’s Team Brain Programme, but this blog series specifically offers an overview of the theory and evidence base underpinning the programme.
The aim of the Team Brain Programme is to support your psychological health and wellbeing, enhance the quality of your relationships and develop your effectiveness in leadership even during unexpected circumstances and significant pressure.
It draws on the relational and systems insights of Bowen systems thinking and integrates them with evidence-based individual psychological approaches. It specifically focuses on Bowen’s concept of Differentiation, a fundamental psychological and relational skill which encapsulates our ability to think and function as individuals while remaining meaningfully connected to others.
The Team Brain Programme builds our differentiation through developing 4 core skills: Think, Feel, Connect and React.
