But life took a more unexpected route and while I studied psychology at university I only completed my therapeutic training in my 30s.
My deliberate choice to return to psychology was rooted in a desire to offer to others the psychological insights that transformed my own personal and professional life. This desire to support and empower people on their own journey of growth and transformation is what inspires my work today.
Now I am the UK expert in
Bowen systems theory, an evidence-based psychological approach which understands human flourishing through our embeddedness in relationships. In addition my psychological training includes a variety of other psychological and therapeutic models including psychodynamic, person-centred, and cognitive behavioural approaches.
I am a
chartered Counselling Psychologist, Executive Coach and Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society, recognised for my
experience and contribution to the field of psychology.
